This position is responsible for the direction and oversight of the operations of the office practice.
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Completion of a medical education program, i.e., LPN , Certified Medical Assistant or commensurate health care experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB RELATED REQUIREMENTS:
Three (3) years experience in a physician’s practice performing front and back office functions. Knowledge of managed care and third-party payer operational requirements including referrals, pre-certifications, authorizations, diagnosis and procedure coding and billing practices. Knowledge of Microsoft Office automation software suite (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook). Supervisory experience preferred.
